Howdy,
I have a problem that I can't figure out, and I'm hoping someone here can give me a hand. For the past several years I have been keeping a record of how far I walk/run/cycle each day via Excel. It has worked great for letting me see my average year by year. However, I have one Excel book where I have listed every single day's total of every year since I have begun keeping track. Here is the forumla that I have been using up to now:
=SUM(D751+C752)/751
D = total from the beginning to day 751
C = what I did for day 752
/751 is everything in ( ) divided by 752 days
It has been a great formula, except for the "/752" part, which I have to manually change....I'm at day 1,629 and have to change hundreds of days manually. I know there has got to be a better way for me to do this, I just cannot figure out how.
I'd like a formula that can do the following:
Keep a running daily average
Something that I can just cut and paste instead of changing every cell
Thank you all for giving my question a look and helping me out,
