Dear All,

I have a table1 in sheet 1, on which I paste data from a table2 in sheet 2. Sheet 3 is the summary sheet, which have formulas referencing to table1 in sheet 1.

The problem is, if I paste data in table1, the formula does not work on Summary sheet.
But if I manually type in table1 then the formula works.

I have checked, there are no trailing space, the format of all the tables are set to "Text".

I really need your help. This is quite fustrating.

Thanks.

Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
Are you pasting manually from Table2? Are you pasting as values to Table1? What do your formulas look like on the Summary Sheet?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

After checking in detail, I was able to identify that there were differences in data types. The table 2 data was in Text format and when I type number it is a number format. So I managed to fix it by converting the number to text using Text function and now all the formulas arr working.
