i cant reduce the size of the active workbook

With this one workbook I'm using I'm having trouble with various tabs here. The active range is all the way until AZ1048576 and I just cant seem to change that. I've tried deleting a few thousand rows at the bottom but it's just not changing. As a result this one file which only has data until row 10,000, has a size of 80 MB!!

Can anyone explain how to fix this?


In another tab in the workbook the scrollbar takes up the entire area from top to bottom (i dont know proper terminology here. essentially what I'm saying is, when I want to scroll down in most normal workbooks, I goto the bar in the top right, and drag lower down to where I want to go. in this case there's just one long bar so I cant drag it down). How would I fix that?

im not quite sure what ur asking.
usually the right side bar and horizontal ones are as big as you data set.
if you need to go beyond that use page down to well, go down
or the right arrow to go, well right, or don't drag the bar, but click the arrow from the bar
