I currently have hyperlinks (within a large number of cells) that link to places within the same document, but the cell sizes are, by necessity, quite small, and the hyperlinked letter inside each of the cells is even smaller, therefore very hard to click on quickly ... usually I'll miss the hyperlinked letter and click onto empty space inside the cell.

I may end up making a floating userform with a series of coded buttons to do the same job, but wanted to explore this first ...

Is it possible to have the entire space of a cell act as a hyperlink, so I can click anywhere in the cell and not have to be accurate with the placement of my cursor ?

Kind regards,

Chris

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
For whatever reason, setting the vertical formatting of the cell to Distributed extends the clickable area to the entire cell width.

That trick worked for me when I tested it. Great find.

Accidental discovery -- I meant to set the horizontal alignment to distributed (which doesn't work).

You're welcome.
