I'm trying to create a hyperlink on my form. It only lets me create a link to a file. Is there anyway to create a link just to a folder that opens with multiple files in it? I just want it to open a folder not an entire file.
Put a label on your form. Type whatever text you want the user to see. In the properties for the label, under Hyperlink Address, put the path to your folder (like C:\Temp).
I can't put get to the hyperlink address in the properties for a label can I? I can't seem to find it. Could you also give me the exact formula to put in that field? Thank you.
-Drag a label on a form
-Typed "Open C:\Temp" for the label's text (or whatever you want the user to see).
-Clicked on the properties icon on the toolbar (or go to View-Properties)
-In the "Hyperlink Address" property, I typed "C:\Temp" (no quotes)
When I view the form in normal view, I can click on the text that I typed in (Open C:\Temp), and it opens explorer to C:\Temp.
For an example form, click HERE to download a database containing only one form.
