I created a data base that resembles a website with buttons (links) that take you to different user forms. Is there a way to click on a link and not only go to that form, but have the current form close so that data gets updated in the database. As it is now, I share this database with two other users, and the data only gets updated when they close each form. The way these forms are linked now, all forms stay open when you click on the hyperlink buttons. Any ideas? Thanks

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Saving and closing form

Thanks for your answer. I will try the doCmd you suggested. I did however, figure out another way to do basically the same thing using a macro and having the save command as 'Yes'. Is it better using VBA, a Macro, or does it really matter?
