i have an access form with several fields and i need some help. here is what i'm trying to accomplish.

one of the fields is labeled "job Number". job number are added everyday. i scan documents pertaining to each specific job and they reside in individual folders in G:\Jobs\9examples: 2345 or 4562 and so on)

i would like a hyperlink which will take me to the specific fold for the job # on the for when ever i change the form.

i want a dynamic hyperlink and not one which i have to create for each individual job number.

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
you can use vba in this way:

Code:
Set rst = MyDB.OpenRecordset("MyAccessTable", dbOpenDynaset, dbAppendOnly)

With rst
        AddNew
        ![Link Column] = Me![job Number] & "#G:\Jobs\9examples\" & Me![job Number] & "#"
End With

[Link Column] is a column in your table MyAccessTable which stores all the file links
