Hi i am trying to setup a hyperlink formula for a file directory, normally as many people will be using this spreadsheet typically they will have saved the directory folder under different letter eg A:, C:

=HYPERLINK(K1&":"&"\1.Driving\Information\Files"&""&"$a$2",""=K1&":"&"\1.Driving\Information\Files"&""&"$a$2")

in cell K1 people can update the letter drive and this hyperlink formula would incorporate this

however i keep getting an error with this formula ......

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Hi, do you have a file name in cell A2? If so - maybe:

=HYPERLINK(K1&":"&"\1.Driving\Information\Files" & $A$2,K1&":"&"\1.Driving\Information\Files"&$A$2)
