>1) Do you really want to use an Access >database? (Not expecting much traffic I >hope.)
No, I'm not expecting much trafic, and there is not going to bee more than 6 tables in the database. So it does not need the speed of a MySQL database for example. I would say not more than two users at the same time.
>2) https is configured on the web server(IIS for example)
Thanx thats what I wanted to know, if it was programmed in the application or configured on the webserver.
>3) Making pages accessible only by https >will (on its own) do nothing to protect >your data.
No but it will prevent people form tapping inforation going across the Internet (I thought).

OK

I'll be the first to admit that I have a lot to learn here.
My problemn is that I'm going to make a web-based projectmanagementsystem for a firm and access+asp seemed fine. Pretty easy to learn since I have a little bit experience in VBA progrmming. The other alternative our group have, is to create a MySQL database+java/PHP application. Since none of us knows a lot java and MySQL, we would rather prefer the access solution even tough the security is worse.
