I would like to give a visual aid for my question, so I have installed the HTML maker. It seems to work but when I do a preview after pasting in I get "&nbsp" wherever there should be a blank cell or a space. Everything else seems to be fine. I have e-mailed the developers, but no response yet. This only happens on this board. Has this happened to anyone else and does anybody know what I can do to fix this?

It doesn't show up when you actually post it, only in the preview window.

Edit: Do you mean the preview window here on the board?

That's probably your problem, then.

If you make a post with the HTML Maker and then preview before posting, it won't work correctly. At least that's been my experience. I believe it's something to do with the javascript in that banging heads with the code for the board.

Try it without previewing.

hope this is going in the right forum...

in the web language of HTML, the ampersand is a charachter qualifier designated in code, followed by whatever specific symbol. which is always ended with a semicolon.

in this case,   stands for non-breaking space. it's for hard-coding a space into a web site. if you do an internet search (lycos has great tutorials) you'll find more than you ever wanted to know about HTML and JavaScript.
