Hiya Board,

I have downloaded htmlmaker 2.42 and added it to my 'Add-ins'
I then select cell A1: B5 on my sheet and "select used range" from the html menu...
A dialogue box appears and I select [yes]...
Then the screen flashes for a while and then a error code appears ...
ERROR: 2147023067 (I have to cancel three dialogue boxes with this error)

Then another dialogue box informs me that I can use another xxxx amount of characters.
Then the error appears one more time (which I cancel)

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Kind Regards
Ben.

Well, I've never heard of a problem like that before, but, try maybe using the light version of HTML Maker. That's the one I use (and prefer !)

Hiya JPG,

Thanks for the response - I'll give it a go

Regards

Ben

I also experienced a similar problem but I found if I selected my range first and then used Convert Sheet to HTML there was no error.

Hiya Bob,

Tried that - still getting the error,

Its very annoying, but hey! computers are great for testing our patience!

Think I will load the htmlmaker on my PC at work and give that a go

Thanks for your response,

Kind Regards

Ben.

I've never come across an error like that myself, and to my knowledge, yours is the first post I've seen describing an error like that.

As an alternative, you can also post about any problems you're having with the HTML Maker on Colo's message board. Seeing as he is one of the creators, he may be able to see something we can't. You can get to his message board by going to the page you downloaded the add-in from (just use the link at the bottom of this page), and click the button that says "qtn bbs."

Kristy:

I did post on Colo's board last week and have not received a reply. When I saw the post re: html maker here, I figured it would be a good opportuninty to jump in. For what it's worth, I'm using Excel 97 on NT 4.0sp6a.

Thanks for the advice folks,

I'll certainly persue Colo for some help - The htmlmaker looks a great add-in

Kind Regards

Ben.
