I have been using HTML Maker for a few months now but it has an odd behavior. Every time I close and reopen Excel, the HTLM maker icon disappears from my toolbar. I have un-check, and then re-check HTML Maker from the list of Excel Add-Ins for the icon to re-appear in my toolbar. Is that the way this to work?

I have a Windows 10 pc running Excel 2010.

I have this identical peculiarity.

I had the same issue with other add-ins.
I found this solution on line that worked for me.

If one of your add-ins is the Analysis ToolPak.
-Uncheck the Analysis ToolPak
-Close and reopen Excel
-Then add the Analysis ToolPak back.

For some reason it stated that the Analysis ToolPak needed to load last.

Odd behavior still exist despite following AhoyNC's suggestion.

N.B. Some of my wording may be incorrect; the option no longer shows.

Did you check the option/permission for this add-in

C\:\Users ....
right click HTML maker
Properties
check the option to permit use ( This may be in Advanced)

If you mean blocked it is under the general section (it only shows if it is blocked) but you can make the addins folder trusted.

Probably not as there were various issues after the last upgrade.

I have moved this thread to the 'About This Board' forum since it isn't an Excel question.
It seems that the OP has changed to excel jeanie & that is fine but I think Dave Patton is on the money, just as he was in this thread (post 28) that includes quite a bit of discussion about similar behaviour with the MrExcel HTML maker.
