How to write code that will covert a downloaded report xls to a csv file and save it with the same name and location as the original file?

Hello

I have downloaded a report from a platform and it is in the default XLS format. However, I need to import the data onto a CRM and would like to convert the file to CSV format. Is it possible to do this? If so, could you please advise on how to convert the XLS file to CSV format.
