How to VLOOKUP specific month and year to find a value?

Hi,

I needed help and appreciate if someone could help me. Suppose the "search key" is 2 Feb 2019, and:

Column:A Column:B
1 Feb 2019 $1,000
2 Feb 2019 $2,000
3 Feb 2019 $3,000

How can I use VLOOKUP, or any other formula if needed to get "$2,000"?

I apologized for the incorrect input. Here is the revised data.

Suppose the "search key" is 2 Feb 2019 again:

1 Jan 2019 $1,000
1 Feb 2019 $2,000
1 Mar 2019 $3,000

How can i get the "$2,000" by looking up for the month and year?
