I have been experiencing a problem with Excel, although before posting here about it, I thought I'd update my version of MS Office. I configured Windows (Windows 10, Office 2016) to update all MS products, not just windows. But still, my version of Excel is v.1812, which is dated to November 2018.

I went into File/Account/Office Update/Update Now path, but Office/Excel didn't update.

Is there another way to update my software?

I just closed out Excel, and reopened it.

Now the Office Update window says "Updates for this product are available for download."

OK, how do I download them? I just went to the Windows update center and did an update check, and it found nothing.

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
Never mind, I see now that it has updated itself. Usually, software programs will give you a new window indicating that something is being downloaded & installed. I am now on v.1909.
