My former co-worker thought it was a good idea to hide all of the whitespace below our Excel data and managed to hide a million rows and 16000 columns. How can I unhide something at the edge of the worksheet?

How to unhide rows or columns, particularly when they're at the edge of your worksheet.
Today's question, how do I unhide a million hidden rows? My former coworker thought it was a good idea to “hide the white space” below and to the right of the data.
This question actually goes back to my old days at Telxon up in accounting.
Someone ran into this very problem.
It's simple to hide and unhide a row when it's in the middle.
So right here if I do Alt O-R-H to hide.
All you do is select from 1504 to 1506 and then Alt+O=R=U to unhide.
The tricky part, though, is when someone is hidden something at the extreme left or extreme right or the top or the bottom.
There is no row 1517 or 1518 to select.
So one method is to start here at 1516, click and then drag slightly down into the grid.
And that's now selected all of those hidden rows.
Alt+O-R-U will unhide everything.
Same thing here, click in I.
If you click in I and then just drag down into the grid and over.
And then Alt+O-C (for column)-U to unhide.
The other way to go is just to select the entire spreadsheet using this icon up here.
Alt+O-R-U, Alt O-C-U.
And you're done.
Sometimes you wonder who was crazy enough to tell people how to hide all those million rows.
What were they thinking?
