Hello,

I have a VBA module with 50 + macros located inside of personal.xlsb.

I have customized an elaborate ribbon that links to all of these macros.

I am trying to port this setup into a new workstation.

I just made a copy of the personal.xlsb and put it in the xlstart folder of the new system.

I exported the custom ribbon then imported it into the new system.

However, in the new system, the ribbon button links to the macros are broken.

I would sincerely appreciate some guidance on how I can create an Add-in for my macros and the custom ribbon for easy portability to other systems.

Thank you!

Is this a duplicate to the one I've just answered?

You need to build a custom ribbon interface for the add-in, using the Office RibbonX Editor.

Hi John, thank you for your response. Yes actually, I re-posed with the other title since I wasn't getting any hits ... So I didn't use XML, I just used the import function from the customize ribbons from the options.
