Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum. I'm wondering if there is a way to save trace dependents and precedents in Excel 2016? Whenever I try to save the spreadsheet, the trace arrows keep disappearing. I want to be able to save these arrows so that next time I open this file, I won't have to re-enable the dependents and precedents since they are very useful for references from a different spreadsheet. Is there any way to bypass this? Any help would be appreciated! Thank You!

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.

As far as I am aware, that option is not possible, nor has it been in earlier Excel versions.

Thank you for the quick response! Interesting, I have an excel file that has the trace arrows saved. They appear whenever I open it. Though, the references seem to be gone or can't be located by Excel itself. I've googled countless hours for a solution but to no avail.
