Good afternoon

I hope that somebody can help me with this please.

I have every date for the year running vertically down column A and the total hours worked for each day alongside the dates in column G. Is there a formula that I can use that sums all the hours in column G that relate to 'April' or from 01/04/17 to 30/04/17 for example.

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
You can try:

=SUMIFS(G:G,A:A,">="&DATE(2017,4,1),A:A,"<"&DATE(2017,5,1))
