How to sum a column by category

What code can i put into the two cells highlighted in yellow to sum up the WDRAW column by category? See attached image. I'M TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHERE MY MONEY IS GOING!

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
=SUMIF(E:E,"health",C:C)

similar for the other

THANKS SO MUCH! How would the code look different if the sum were on a separate tab? =SUMIF(Tab1:E:E,"health",Tab1:C:C)

???

You can use this also:
=SUMIF(E:E,G7,C:C)

Put the value you want the sum of like Cake
Into Range("G7")
