I have a Windows 7 64bit PC running Microsoft Office 2010 and almost w/o fail every time I drag (move) a cell's contents to a new location (a cell that is already empty) I get this annoying message from Microsoft. The move is successful after I click OK, so why can't Microsoft fix this crazy issue?
Anyone have a tried and true fix? I do also run Skype (have disabled it in both my IE and Mozilla). I also run RealVNC and TeamViewer. I just discovered that when I have a RealVNC connection that is when I get this message. As soon as I close the RealVNC connection it goes away.
So essentially this is a message not seeking an answer, but to give other users who are having the same issue a possible solution.

I had this problem for several years. Drives me nuts... It is on all my computers. Tried everything on the internet but nothing works. It is extremely arrogant of Microsoft not to address issues that are a big pain for many of their customers....

One solution works very very good:) Switch to Office Suite Download by WPS Office To me it is much better then Excel. Saves in doc and docx natively. Totally removes the problem. And to me it is a much better interface!
(I have used OpenOffice and LibreOffice before, but I find them awkward in many ways especially to copy/drag content in their spreadsheet. They want to use their own strange format and the content dont look the same.)
Good luck!
