Hi

When I roll my mouse wheel my current sheet flies up and down - I would like it to move slowly, line by line.

Is there a setting for this?

Thanks.

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
There is a setting but it is in Windows, not in Excel. Any changes made to that setting will affect how the scroll wheel works in other applications as well.

Go to Settings > Devices > Mouse then adjust the second slider as required.

The default setting is 3 lines, however it should be noted that this applied to rows in Excel rather than lines of text. If you have line breaks with multiple lines of text in a single cell then that will still count as 1. If you have merged cells then the merged range will also count as 1 row regardless of the number of actual rows that they span.

In Windows goto to Start. Type Mouse and select Mouse Settings.

My mouse is set as in the attached image but play around until you are happy.

OK thank you both. I think the "jumps" might be because my rows in Excel are so large as they contain so much text that is wrapped.
