Hi Guys,
I am new to this site and not very advanced with Excel so please excuse me if I am asking a very basic question.

I am using excel 2003 to track funds coming into and out of my company on a monthly basis. I have a bar chart set up to reflect each month's turnover. My issue is: how do I set up a "line" on the chart to reflect the average takings each month? I have been using a trendline but it is not working out. Maybe I was using incorrect trendline?? Any suggestions?

Thanks
