I have a worksheet that is protected and want to run a macro that clears certain cells after use. However, it won't run since the sheet is protected. I don't want to unprotect the sheet due to a number of formulas that are being utilized.

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
To run the code you will need to unprotect the sheet.
But it can be included in the code

Code:
Sub MM1()
Activesheet.unprotect Password="your password"

......your code

Activesheet.protect Password="your password"

end sub
