I am new to Excel 2013 and am trying to use Power View to create some dashboards. Essentially, what I have is a source table of data containing sales numbers. On the dashboard, I want to just have the total sum of thsoe sales. So I dragged that field into my Power View workspace, and it shows the number with the field name above it.
In a normal pivot table, you can simply type over the field name so it displays whatever you want. However, this does not seem possible in Power View - so how can I show a different label for a field without actually changing the source data column's name? For instance, the column name may be "YTD Revenue" and I just want the dashboard to say, "Sales $x,xxx".
What is the best and/or easiest way to do this?
EDIT: Also I have another, unrelated to the above, question. In a normal Excel sheet, you can make a textbox or shape link to an image, so it is almost like a dynamic image. In Power View, I do not see any formula bar where you could do something like that. Is it at all possible to create a dynamic image in Power View (for instance, so that the customer logo would change upon making a selection change for the customer you are viewing)?
