Hi all,

This powerpivot will not be hosted on a sharepoint site, but i want a way to refresh the back-end powerpivot data (an mssql query) without opening up the powerpivot window.

I don't need it to be automated (that'd be nice though) - a button or something in the excel spreadsheet would suffice for me.

How can this be achieved?

many thanks,
sff
