I have an excel which contain approx. 25 spread sheets. One sheet is for data entry and 5 sheets showing the result. On other sheets there are lot of calculations. So to track down the output value of particular cell, to find where it came from i have to go through various sheets to reach at its source and it contain lot of time. is there any method to find path of particular value of cell.

If you are using formulas, then the display in the formula bar would show how the value of a particular cell is derived. But the source cell for the first value might be a destination cell for a third value, and this chain could go on for several different cells, which is why you are probably having trouble chasing down the initial source. You could use the 'Trace Precedents' option under Formulas on the Ribbon, but I think that only shows the Cells on the current sheet and if the source is another sheet it just shows an icon with no particular cell reference. If you are using VBA to populate the cells, then the code would contain the source information. I don't believe there is an easy way to trace it all down when multiple sheets are involved.
