How to omit missing data on a pie chart?

Hi,

I have a number of pie charts which charts the below type of data, sometimes a category can have 0 like the below. Is it possible to remove the empty category from the pie chart automatically?

having a problem with this file in terms of rounding.

(DataInColumin tab) if you change cell B2 to 5 and B3 to B8 1. the chart shows category A as 46% when it should be 45%.

any ideas on how i can fix this?

That's because 6*9% is 54% leaving 46%. If you want more precision change the number format of the data labels.

Hi,

This works in that instance but not in the below, doesn't seem to work when I have:

B2:5
B3:1
B4:1
B5:1
B6:1
B7:3
B8:0

Really confusing.

as 5/12 is 41.6%

however the Pie chart shows it as 43%.

that's more than 1% away from the actual answer. Hence the pie chart and table will show conflicting results.
