How to obtain song duration or title of song being played by windows media player

I want to obtain the duration of a song being played by windows media player or the song title.
I have no idea how to do this, please can you help?
Not being that good I need code examples to follow or try to adapt.

I seem to have missed some vital information from my post.
The song is already playing. when i then run the macro i need it to obtain the song duration or the song title. i cannot had code the song name.
i can hard code to the directory where the song is but thats all. the macro will need to obtain the song title
