Hello,

What formula can I use to match B1 value with A1 only if A1 is positive?
In other words:
B1 equals A1 if A1>0 otherwise = 0
B2 equals A1 if A1<0 otherwise = 0

Thank you

Use Data, What-If Analysis, Goal Seek to find the correct input cell value to reach a desired result
from your statement

= if(A1>0,A1,0)
=if(A1<0,A1,0)

isn't same??
you can use the first one on all range.
= if(A1>0,A1,0)
