Hi:

I have a pivot table with column labels dates - 07/1/22 to 12/31/23.

How can I force Excel to show totals for row labels for the period 09/01/23 to 12/31/23.

It looks like since July to Dec overlaps over the two years, Excel is including totals from 2022.

Hope this all make sense.

Regards,
S

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
Are your dates in the Rows Rabel? If so, there should be a drop down and from there you can unselect the dates you do not want included in your calculations?

Dates are in Column labels.
The approach in post #2 still includes 2022 dates in calculations.
I have since found Date Filter from the Pilot table fields list allows a wide range of filters. Selecting "show items for which the date is after 9/1/23" yields the required results.
