How to maintain formatting on pivot charts when data is refreshed?

Hi everyone,

How do I ensure formatting on a pivot chart is maintained when the data is refreshed? I have a line chart with two lines but I only want one to be visible so I have formatted one line so you cannot see it but when i refresh the invisible line reappears.

Doesn't simply formatting the data series with "no line" work?

Unfortunately not. When I refreshed of filtered differently the original formatting would return. Some times it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I’m not sure why.

It seems to always work on my end, but maybe I don't test all scenarios.
Other simple suggestion would be to leave out the dataseries you don't want to plot on the chart. But you thought of that, right?
