Hi All

I am a bit of an excel novice and wondered if you can help me out please.

I have a spreadsheet of data containing products sales and dates. e.g. if a product was sold over a number of months there will be a separate line for each month

Product 1 - 2011/01 - £100
Product 1 - 2011/02 - £100
Product 1 - 2011/03 - £100
Product 1 - 2011/04 - £100
Product 1 - 2011/05 - £100
Product 1 - 2011/06 - £100

I want to be able to look up the first and last month there are sales for each product and also the month with the highest amount of sales (as i am looking over 4 years worth of data)

What is the best way to do this please?
Thanks!

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Your welcome and good luck with your task and solution. ;)
