So in my spreadsheet, column A is populated with three digit numbers down to row 100. These numbers are from specific areas on a map im working on. The area numbers are going to be temporarily changed, so coloumn B is populated with the new area numbers, for the new map.

Essectially, I want to sort column A by acending. I need the adjacent column B cells to follow. All data in rows are correlated and need to stay together.

Example: how to I get A20 and B20 to stay adjacent while sorting the A column.

This is for my job so all help is much appreciated. I hope my explanation wasnt too conveluted.

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
But you must select the two columns before sorting and then you order by column A, that way the relationship always remains.
