I am using Center Across Selection instead of Merge and Center on three columns, the second and third rows are always in the center, I want all text to be on left align. When I use Align Left, it takes the text off the Center Across selection. Please also note that the text is in C, and I want it to extend to column E. The corresponding cells in column B from Row 8 to 20, are merged.
Also, the cells have multiple lines of text, but Auto Fit Row Hight is not working either.
Please advise.
I am using Excel 2021

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
I don't understand why you're using Center across Selection if you want it left aligned. Just Merge the cells if you want it left aligned.

Thanks for your response, Scott. I do not want to use Merge for some reason, but if it is not possible, I will use Merge.
Best regards,

Rather than center across selection, select the cells, clear all borders and apply an outside border

Thanks, Mark, sure I can do this, only if the data is not longer than the three columns. My text will go beyond the third column so I will have to use Wrap Text, that will bring the text to just first cell of the first column.
I think as there is Center Across, there should be Left Across or Right Across too. A suggestion for the next version.

Thanks, Mark, sure I can do this. But I think as there ius a function Center Across, there should be Left Across or Right Across too.
Unfortunately there isn't the option so you'll need to use a workaround ;)
