There are 3 columns. One is type, 2nd temp and 3rd W/m. I have to select the "w/m" at a particular "temp" of a particular "type"

I may not have the Temp and W/m inputs at various values, so i have to use the forecast function in excel.

I have to instruct excel to forecast the W/m of type 3BTV at Temperature of 25 deg C. Using forecast function in excel is easy. But to instruct excel to forecast from type 3BTV "ONLY" is the trouble some part.

There are several types (3BTV, 5BTV, 8BTV, etc) and each type has different values for temp and W/m column.

Any help? I have tried index/match but no use.

Thanks in advance.

Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
You cannot show an image stored on your own computer. You can upload to a file-share site and provide a link here. Better still, post a screen shot directly in your thread using one of the methods linked to from my signature block below.

Thanks a lot for the response. I still did not get it how to paste the screen shot directly.

Anyway I got the answer to my query. I did that using the indirect in forecast function itself.
