Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Have you tried changing the property of the field in your access table to "hyperlink", there is a dropdown for it in design view.

It seems to work in a table I tested

Thank you for the replay.
I changed the property of the field in my access table to "hyperlink", after that it seemed the hyperlink is there, but when I clicked it, it cannot open the link. It said:"cannot find the file."

Hi,
I ran into this also with a year's worth of files. We had not the resources to investigate
thoroughly-
we built new tables, copied, pasted and then added a hyperlink column,
We did have some interns to help add the actual links.
Not the best way, but it worked.
Hyperlinks are a bit weird within an Access table. I also haven't found a way for users to find the text of a hyperlink either. If you do, let me know.
