Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Hey,

Use a custom rule (Say you want the highlighter cell to be cell C1)

Select C1
Conditional formatting -> New Rule -> Use a formula to determine which cells to format -> =A1="Value goes here" Then select the format you want.

This will format C1 if cell A1 contains "Value goes here" - just change the text to whatever x is.

SorryIm looking for the formula, somthing like:
Code:
=NOT(ISBLANK($I17))

But i need it to just find value two rows to left.

OK

In that case use OFFSET:

=NOT(ISBLANK(OFFSET($I17,0,-2)))

This offsets $I17 by 2 columns (to the left hence the minus) and therefore looks at $G17
