I need help with a spreadsheet that I want to distribute widely. I put the introduction material and the instructions in 2 worksheets that do not look good. I would like to get rid of the menu bars.
Since I do not want problems later, I do not want to reformat the text worksheets with macros because my potential customers could get mad because I messed up their standard Excel arrangement/lay-out.
The full-screen in Excel is not complete full anyway -- it keeps the column and row bars.
The solution that I have for now is to put the introduction and the instructions on the spreadsheet worksheet in remote corners and to move around with buttons and macros. I would keep the menu bars when displaying text but I would be sure not to have "macro that did not work to restore the original format" problems.
I am also using Excel97 to be sure that the spreadsheet works for everybody.
I would appreciate some advice.
