I have a long list of names that are sorted in alphabetical order. The list currently starts at A4 and goes down to A1000. Is there a way to quickly jump down to the first cell with cell content that begins with the letter "M" (or "m")? Thanks.

You could try this... select cell A3 (yes, A3 because we want to be immediately above the first data cell), press CTRL+F and type M* in the Find What field, click the "Options>>" button and set the Search dropdown to By Columns, then click the "Find Next" button.
That doesn't seem to work. If I have "america" before "monday", it should go to "monday" first, but using the method you mentioned it goes to "america" first since it finds the "m" in america.
