I had to put the total amount of the object manually on top of the table as I couldn't find a way to get it automatically from the table of numbers I created. Could somebody kind-heartedly teach me how to do this automatically by simply pulling the data of the table created at Excel?

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Hello,

If you follow the steps in the images. :)

1. Have your data table set up as in the 1st image (if not - you will have to do somethings backwards: maybe) :)
2. Select the whole table - including the 'total column. Then click on Switch Row/Column
3. You then have the Total column at the top - in green.
4. Right click on the green and select - Change series chart type
5. Choose a line graph
6. Right click on the series and - Add Data Labels
7. Right click on the new Data Labels and choose format data labels
8. Select the 'Above' option
9. Right click on the series and choose format data series
10. Select - no line
11. Select the new Data Labels and format them as you wish

:)
