Hello,

I have an XLS template with text and some fields that I want to update them automatically.

Can you tell me please how do click a button and do stuff like:

1) count the number of lines in a sheet apart from the header
2) count the number of lines in a sheet that the field under a specific header has value1 or value2
3) calculate the percentage of the above to the total number of lines apart from the header

Also, can you tell me the macro that will create this "Some text here [value from 1)] and some other text here [value from 2)] plus [value from 3)]

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
Ideally, I would like to make use of Excel Functions, e.g. use the COUNTIF, INDEX/MATCH etc to find the numbers I need.
