Hello;

I want to format [452365214] as [452, 365, 214]. Separating by comma and space.

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
Assuming the cell has just the number without the square brackets, you can use:
0, 000, 000
as a custom format code. If the square brackets are actually part of the cell, then a number format will not work.

I see your values are text (they are all left aligned)... you will not be able to format such a cell.

I don't understand your post. Are you trying to tell me (us) that your version of Excel displays left to right or that your cell's alignment is left justified? Either way, I do not think you can get both the comma and space between the digit triples using cell formatting. If you are willing to have the numbers display the way you indicated using a formula in another cell... that can be done, but the values will be text.

=SUBSTITUTE(TEXT(G20,"#,###"),",",", ")

You already have an answer in your cross-posted thread so I see little point in carrying on here.
