Hi,
Can I have my dates in the dCalendar table in "dd/mmm/yyyy" format instead of "dd/mmm/yyyy hh:mm:ss" ?
When I create my dCalendar I always tempted to follow "dd/mmm/yyyy" separating times.
I usually maintain a separate table for times as it gives the flexibility to run the Hour , Minute, Second functions to get hours, minutes, seconds which I feel you can't get the same if you include your dates with times.
Am I correct in my opinion? Is it a good practice? Will this effect my PowerPivot analysis in any way?
Thank
