Dear All,
I do have a small data set across A1:C4 as follows:-

Dispatch Day
Leadtime
Proposed Delivery Day

Thursday
7
Thusday

Wednesday
4
Sunday

Friday
8
Saturday

I would like to forecast the delivery day based on the Dispatch Day & the corresponding leadtime.
For example, if the dispatch day is Thursday and the leadtime is 7 Days, then the forecasted delivery day will be Thursday.
If the dispatch day is Wednesday and the leadtime is 4 Days, then the forecasted delivery day will be Sunday.
Could somebody help me out with the solution pls?
Regards

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Given that 1st December 2017 was a Friday, you could do something like this:

Book1
ABC
1Dispatch DayLeadtimeProposed Delivery Day
2Thursday7Thursday
3Wednesday4Sunday
4Friday8Saturday
Sheet1
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
C2=TEXT(DATE(2017,12,MATCH($A2,{"Friday","Saturday","Sunday","Monday","Tuesday","Wednesday","Thursday"},0))+$B2,"dddd")

Hi, another option, similar principle.

=TEXT(DATE(0,1,B2+SEARCH(LEFT(A2,2),"SASUMOTUWETHFR")/2),"dddd")
