Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Y =(a1&b1& etc.. & q1)

after that use

Z= if(countif($y$1:$y$2047,$y1)>1,"duplicated","")

kam leo,

If I understand you correctly, then here is a macro solution for you to consider.

I assume that both the raw data worksheet, and, the results worksheet already exist, and, they have the same titles in row 1, from column A thru column Q.

You can change the worksheet names in the macro.

Sample raw data worksheet Sheet1 (the yellow cells in the last two rows are duplicates of two of the above rows)(I am using columns R, and, S, as a work area.):

Excel 2007
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQ
1ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQ
200000100000000000
300010000000010010
400100000000101000
500000000001010010
600001100000100000
700000000010000001
800000110000001001
900000010010000000
1000000000100001000
1100010000000001000
1210000001000000000
1300000000010000001
1400000000010100000
1500000000000110000
1600000000001000100
1700010000000010010
1800000000010000001
19
Sheet1

Sample Results worksheet:

Excel 2007
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQ
1ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQ
2
3
4
Results

And, after the macro:

Excel 2007
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQ
1ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQ
200000000010000001
300010000000010010
4
Results

Please TEST this FIRST in a COPY of your workbook (always make a backup copy before trying new code, you never know what you might lose).

1. Copy the below code
2. Open your NEW workbook
3. Press the keys ALT + F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor
4. Press the keys ALT + I to activate the Insert menu
5. Press M to insert a Standard Module
6. Where the cursor is flashing, paste the code
7. Press the keys ALT + Q to exit the Editor, and return to Excel
8. To run the macro from Excel press ALT + F8 to display the Run Macro Dialog. Double Click the macro's name to Run it.

Code:
Sub c()
' hiker95, 05/09/2016, ME939826
Dim w1 As Worksheet, wr As Worksheet
Dim lr As Long, r As Long, nr As Long
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
Set w1 = Sheets("Sheet1") '<-- you can change the sheet name here
Set wr = Sheets("Results") '<-- you can change the sheet name here
With wr
  lr = .Cells(Rows.Count, 1).End(xlUp).Row
  If lr > 1 Then
    .Range("A2:Q" & lr).ClearContents
  End If
End With
With w1
  lr = .Cells(Rows.Count, 1).End(xlUp).Row
  With .Range("R2:R" & lr)
    .Formula = "=A2&B2&C2&D2&E2&F2&G2&H2&I2&J2&K2&L2&M2&N2&O2&P2&Q2"
  End With
  With .Range("S2:S" & lr)
    .Formula = "=COUNTIF($R$2:R2,R2)"
    .Value = .Value
  End With
  For r = 2 To lr Step 1
    If .Cells(r, 19).Value = 2 Then
      nr = wr.Cells(wr.Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).Row + 1
      wr.Cells(nr, 1).Resize(, 17).Value = .Cells(r, 1).Resize(, 17).Value
    End If
  Next r
  .Range("R2:S" & lr).ClearContents
End With
With wr
  .Columns("A:Q").AutoFit
  .Activate
End With
Application.ScreenUpdating = True
End Sub

Before you use the macro with Excel 2007 or newer, save your workbook, Save As, a macro enabled workbook with the file extension .xlsm, and, answer the "do you want to enable macros" question as "yes" or "OK" (depending on the button label for your version of Excel) the next time you open your workbook.

Then run the FindDuplicateRows macro.

kam leo,

1. Are you looking for a macro to copy ALL the duplicate rows?

2. Or, if there is more than one of the same row, just copy one of its duplicates?
