how to filter report based on start date and end date in access

hi guys can anyone help me in figuring out how to insert filter in access 2007 reports based on start date n end date ????

i am stuck in this

Base your report on a query as the recordsource and then use the Between function to filter for dates.

If your date field data type contain time (HH:MM:SS) you need to account for time when using the Between operator.
