How to expand the number of records returned by pivot drill to

Hi-
I'm using office 2013 and have created a pivot table using powerpivot. When i try to drill into the data within the pivot table it is returning just the first 1000 rows. When i go to data > connections > properties the option to expand is greyed out. Any ideas what i need to do?
