How to enter URL

I know I've seen this before, but couldn't find the right search words to get examples. What I want is to put in a "click here" that will take you to another URL.
 
I will typically just type in what I want, then highlight/select the phrase I want to be the link and then select the globe and infinity looking sign on the little message toolbar.

Ok so I don't see this stuff that you are referring to - where is that?

And yes Weaver that is what I was wanting for the board.

You have to click either 'Post Reply' or 'Quote' (it won't be on the quick reply box), and you have to have your Message Editor Interface (under user CP / Edit Options) set to either Standard or Enhanced.

Otherwise, it should be one of the icons above the text box where you enter your message.
 
ah hah - must be after the last upgrade mine got switched back to basic. I just never went in search of those hidden treasures that went missing. All is solved now. Thanks . . .
