Is it possible for a macro to open a comment box and leave the comment box open for further editing?

I want to be able to select the cell then click a button to open the edit comment dialogue box for further editing

Currently, any code I tried the box remains closed?

Please advise

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
